Since 1942, the U.S. has continued to allow a limit of 50 parts per billion of arsenic in drinking water … The official acceptable tolerance of arsenic will be decreased by a whopping 80%—all the way down to 10 parts per billion… even WHO today indicates that this level is scientifically unacceptable. They advocate for a dramatically reduced level 10 times less than the new January 2006 mandate—down to but 1 part per billion!
